Sophie's Build-a-Bear

We have had a pretty slow summer as far as going places, but we have been pretty busy doing home improvement projects. Part of that was having a garage sale to get rid of a bunch of unneeded things like the crib (no more babies for us!) and a bunch of other things that were just sitting around. Sophie thought it was a great idea to sell some stuff so she could buy new toys. Her daycare class went on a field trip to Build-a-Bear on Wednesday, but she didn't get to go because we stay home on Wednesdays...so she very disappointed and quickly became determined to get a bear. She decided to sell her Dora's Magic Castle so she could make some money to go get her bear. Her castle was one of the first things that sold. The lady that bought it tried to talk me down on price, but I told her no and what Sophie was planning on doing. Sophie got her asking price! Sophie also helped out by taking money and telling our customers what great stuff we had! Needless to say, we went to Build-a-Bear that night. She picked out...can you guess???...a Pink Bear with a Pink princess dress, a pink crown and "glass" slippers with "sparklies" on them. Her name is Snowpea Princess Pinky and she hasn't left Sophie's side since she was made! They are best friends!
When I went to see if Sophie was asleep tonight, I found her sound asleep, with Snowpea sitting on her tummy. It was too funny...I had to take a picture. I hope you find this as cute as we did!

So precious! Her room is so cute too. I love girly things, I can't wait to have a girly girl of my own :)

Sophie's bedroom looks darling! We can't wait to sleep in it! Maybe Grandma Dana can take her to Build a Bear to make a new friend for "Snowpea"!
